New numbers, comparisons, and things that changed

Posts and capability pages have different half-lives, and mixing them up is how a site like this ends up contradicting itself. A post is a snapshot: it copies the figures it cites and freezes them, so it still makes sense in a year. A capability page is maintained, and its numbers follow the database. When a post produces new data, the data goes into the database and the capability page moves — the post stays exactly as published.
